The trust deficit.

The public is becoming increasingly aware of the way in which companies and institutions behave, partly thanks to the plethora of social media and assorted news channels.

Views are travelling much faster and bad news is the front runner as it affects people’s hip pockets. People quite rightly expect a level of corporate governance that measures up to the importance in their lives of the trust placed in these organisations.

Put simply the organisation must reflect the community they represent; otherwise how can you represent them?

Cultural problems in companies and organisations are best resolved by transparent policies and procedures which assure the customer base that all is well at the activity base of operations, and at the same time allows the customer to have faith in the outcomes of good corporate governance.
